Health benefits of mango leaves
The
mango fruit is yummy, juicy and so tasty! Everyone loves this tasty
fruit but hey! What about its leaves?! Uhuh, most people ain't aware of
its herbal and medicinal properties. So what I'll do is enlighten you
all. Mango leaves are extremely rich in vitamin C and it also has
antioxidant properties and can be used in treating the following
ailments.
Diabetes
For
diabetic patients, boil fresh mango leaves and strain out the water
then take a tablespoonful of it daily. This helps in maintaining insulin
levels in the body and also reducing hyperglycemia.
Blood pressure and anxiety
Mango
leaves are rich in compounds that has a calming effect on the nerves in
the body, reducing anxiety, restlessness and also blood pressure.
Simply boil the leaves and use the extracted liquid for bathing, you can
also drink an equal amount of it daily.
Heal burns
To
heal burns and scalds on the skin completely, burn a handful of mango
leaves to ashes and then apply this ash on the affected area for instant
relief.
Ear aches
The
juice extracted from mango leaves can be used in relieving ear aches.
Heat the juice slightly then use as ear drops in providing relief from
ear aches.
