Timaya apologizes to Peter Okoye's fans for making Peter appear inferior to Paul

Timaya had taken to his IG to spread the word about his forthcoming single featuring Paul Okoye of P-Square. But what was supposed to be a normal promo post turned out to appear like a deliberate sub, thereby attracting mixed reactions from fans. Timaya wrote; "My Next single is with this man @rudeboypsquare because I believe he's the realest and the BEST. Watch out for it!!!” Fans misunderstood the Egberi Papa’s post to be a subtle shade thrown at Peter.

So, they went to the comment area to air their grievances, as inspired by the post. Seeing that things had taken an unusual dimension and began to seem like he (Timaya) was shading Peter Okoye, the former “Plantain Seller” again took to YouTube to share a video of him apologizing to Peter and explaining his post. Using Pidgin English, he said;

"You know say I no go school. I no dey take side with anybody. I'm just trying to say sorry for the use of English." According to Timaya, he was only trying to inform about his collabo with Paul Okoye. He added that he didn’t mean to say Paul is better than Peter when he said Paul was the realest and the best. He ended the video by saying "why are you guys like this? Bleep off!" Lol.
