Did you know that Olamide’s real stage name was “G-Dogg?” – But ID Cabasa changed it
In the process of creating a brand,
many ideas pop up in the mind, some of which are soothing and some of
which are nothing to go by. However, at that stage, everything seems so
wonderful that an upcoming singer can opt to go for a brand name like
“Kastalamalachi.” Lol. But then, the good thing most of the times is
that upcoming acts always have someone to guide them and show them the
way. Olamide happens to be one of those acts who was shown such way.
During
his early days in the music scene, the much celebrated YBNL Nation
Boss, Olamide Adedeji, who is famously known as Olamide Baddo, had his
real stage name to be “G DOGG.” the name was however changed by Coded
tunes Ceo, Olumide Ogunade aka I.D Cabasa on the day Baddo recorded the
street banger of devotion Eni Duro.

The
street rapper, who hails from the local mainland area Bariga, is a true
definition of a hustler who has done a lot by himself to a point where
he can’t be replaced by any rapper for now. The name, Olamide, has
become a well-known brand. But what do you think about his former name?
Do you think G-Dogg would have been a better brand name?
