2019 Toyota And Lexus Cars Will Have Apple's CarPlay Support Tech ta unveiled all-new Avalon 2019 and unboxes its latest features at the 2018 North American International Auto Show. Among all, the most interesting announcement is about the addition of Apple’s CarPlay to Toyota Avalon 2019. 

The integration of either Android Auto or CarPlay is a very important move as the company’s consumers were expecting for a long time now. The upcoming Avalon model will have the CarPlay for the owners to smartly use the technology. 

 The new addition will enable the Toyota Avalon 2019 owner to feel the functionality of smartphones on their car’s screen. Although, the manufacturer has persistently denied the integration of either Android Auto or CarPlay to its rides. Android Auto and CarPlay are the platforms for providing smart tech functionalities to the cars and the platforms are from all-time rivals Google and Apple. 

 However, John Hanson, the national manager of Toyota’s advanced technology communications stated that “the company will prefer to use in-house created platforms for this kind of functions” back in 2015.
Afterwards, the automobile giant has partnered with Ford to use Ford’s SmartDeviceLink app for adding smart functionalities to its cars. And finally in 2017, both the company announced SmartDeviceLink (SDL) Consortium, the open source platform to deploy more software and finally giving an invitation to Google and Apple. 

 This allows Toyota to add the third party app to its cars without giving much authority to the app. Interestingly, Toyota added the Apple’s CarPlay first to the Avalon 2019 instead of Android Auto. 

 In addition to this, the company has also announced that some of the additional 2019 Toyota and Lexus models will also support the Apple’s CarPlay. Toyota and Lexus own Entune 3.0 and Enform 2.0 respectively, both are the integrated multimedia navigation and telematics system, providing satellite-based information on traffic, weather, sports scores, stocks, and fuel prices.
The Toyota Avalon 2019, which is also the fifth generation of Toyota’s Avalon series comprises 3.5-liter V6 or the Toyota Hybrid System II engine with a striking interior. With the help of CarPay, the consumer will be able to give many smart commands to the system via a 9-inch capacitive touchscreen. 

Moreover, at CES 208 company also revealed the Toyota and Lexus 2019 models compatibility to Amazon’s digital assistant Alexa via Toyota remote connection
This will allow the owners to perform tasks such as locking and unlocking the car doors, getting driving directions, controlling internet connected home gadgets and reading news while driving.
